1. About this service
Legal Seat is an online directory that helps landlords find independent, licensed legal professionals across Canada. We are a directory only — not a law firm, and not a party to any engagement between a landlord and a legal professional. We do not provide legal advice.
2. No lawyer–client relationship
Using Legal Seat does not create a legal professional–client or lawyer–client relationship. Any such relationship is formed directly between you and the legal professional you choose to contact and retain.
3. Listings & verification
Legal professionals are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings, including licence numbers, rates, and specialties. While we ask that all listed legal professionals be licensed by their provincial regulator, you should independently confirm a legal professional's standing before retaining them.
4. Payments
Legal Seat charges legal professionals for Premium memberships, skill add-ons, and hero placements. We do not process payments between landlords and legal professionals and take no commission on legal work.
5. Limitation of liability
Legal Seatis provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct, advice, or outcomes of any legal professional listed in the directory.
